Our relation to the environment
EFG Izi Niveau is one of our products
that now bears the Swan eco label.
EFG recognizes its responsibility for the future for
your office, and the environment of this generation
and generations to come. Our environmental policy
commits us to continual improvement in accordance
with our environmental goals.
Parts of our range are now accredited with the offi-
cial Nordic eco label, The Swan. The environmental
requirements for The Swan cover the entire life cycle
of a product, from raw materials to waste minimiza-
tion, from production, work environment to usage.
A long lifespan means the environmental impact is
reduced. Quality and functionality are therefore two
further criteria in the labelling.
In addition to the Swan eco label, we also work on
other environmental declarations. A certified
environmental consultant has evaluated the EFG
screen wall system. The Savo Maxikon office chair
is certified in accordance with ISO 90125-EPD
(Environmental Product Declaration).
Furthermore, we comply with REACH, EU regula-
tions on chemicals and their safe use. We are affili-
ated to REPA, a system for the collection and recy-
cling of packaging. Our veneer finishes and timber
products are sourced from suppliers who take
responsibility for an environmentally and economi-
cally viable use of the world's forests.
